Indian Sikh pilgrims, in collaboration with the Evacuee Trust Property Board and the Federal Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Government of Pakistan, began harvesting wheat crops in Guru Nanak Dev Maharaj’s field at Gurdwara Darbar Sahib, Kartarpur, under the Project Management Unit Kartarpur.

The Sikh pilgrims, accompanied by the CEO of the Project Management Unit, Additional Secretary Shrine Saifullah Khokhar, and other Sikh leaders, harvested the crops in Guru Nanak Dev Maharaj’s field. The pilgrims expressed their joy and spiritual connection to the land, chanting “Bole So Nihal” as they worked.

The event coincided with the Vaisakhi celebrations, and the Sikh pilgrims extended their heartfelt gratitude to the Government of Pakistan and the Evacuee Trust Property Board for taking good care of their historic Gurdwaras and allowing them to plough Guru Nanak Dev Maharaj’s fields, which holds deep spiritual significance for them.

They also expressed their appreciation for the warm hospitality and excellent arrangements made for the Vaisakhi celebrations and the Khalsa birthday. The Sikh pilgrims praised the efforts of the Project Management Unit Kartarpur for ensuring a smooth and memorable experience for them during their visit.

As part of the Vaisakhi celebrations, a Kabaddi match was organized under the auspices of the Project Management Unit Kartarpur and the Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee. The Sikh pilgrims enjoyed traditional Punjabi dances, including Bhangra, and expressed their joy and gratitude.

The harvesting of Guru Nanak Dev Maharaj’s crops was a historic moment, reflecting the rich cultural and spiritual heritage of Sikhism. The event showcased the importance of agriculture, community service, and devotion in Sikhism, leaving a lasting impression on the Sikh pilgrims.

While Daljit Singh Sarna, a member of the Delhi Gurudwara Par Bandhak Committee from India, expressed his views on the occasion of Pakistan and said thanx for the excellent arrangements by the Pakistani government and ETPB. Although the number of pilgrims has doubled, there is no shortage of our hospitality in Pakistan.
Addressing the gathering, the Chairman of Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Par Bandhak Committee psgpc, Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora said that ETPB and the Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Par Bandhak Committee are working day and night to provide hospitality and service to the pilgrims. The Chief Minister of Punjab has special love for minorities, which is why Sikhs are very proud in Pakistan. Gurdwaras are being renovated and made functional in Pakistan, which has further strengthened Sikh-Muslim friendship.
Minister of State Khail Das Kohistani said that the government of Pakistan is taking all possible steps for the welfare of minorities. The ceremony was also addressed by Additional Secretary Shrines, provincial ministers, Sikh Jatha leaders from India and others, while the High Commission Mr. Ban was participated, Federal Ministry of Religious Affairs representative, Secretary ETPB Farid Iqbal, Deputy Commissioner, DPO Nankana, Deputy Secretary Umar Javed Awan, Hindu leaders, Security Officer Asim Chaudhry, various minority and political leaders and officers of the board. The participants of the ceremony raised slogans of Pakistan Zindabad, Sikh Muslim Dosti Zindabad, while at the end, special gifts were distributed by the Sikh leaders to the Federal Minister and other participants.

Celebrations on the occasion of Vaisakhi Mela have begun at Gurdwara Panja Sahib and Gurudwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur under the auspices of the Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) Ministry of religious Affairs & interfaith harmony Sikh pilgrims from all over the world, including India, offered special prayers according to religious rituals, and langar was arranged according to religious traditions. Sikh women helped in preparing and arranging the food in Gurudwara Sahaban, while someone did other tasks, including cleaning the utensils.
According to the press releases issued by the spokesperson of the Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) the leader of the Shiromani Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee, Ravinder Singh Sarna, who came from India, while expressing his views on the occasion of his visit to Pakistan, said that Sikhs coming from all over the world, including India, are very happy to have darshan of their Gurudwara Sahib in Pakistan. He said that we are very grateful to the government of Pakistan and the trust board administration for providing accommodation, medical care, and the best travel facilities.
The leader of the Delhi Gurudwara Management Committee, Sardar Daljit Singh Sarna, said that the administration has made excellent arrangements for the pilgrims at the Gurudwara Sahib. Although the number of pilgrims has doubled, there is no shortage of our hospitality in Pakistan.
In Hassan Abdal, the pilgrims also visited the tomb of Baba Wali Gandhari. The ETPB administration decorated Gurudwara Panja Sahib Hassan Abdal with colorful and beautiful lights.
The district administration has made strict security arrangements around the Gurudwara. According to the board spokesperson Ghulam Mohiuddin, due to the doubling of the number, two groups of Sikh pilgrims formed under the supervision of Security Officer Asim Chaudhry will reach Nankana Sahib from Gurudwara Panja Sahib and Gurudwara Darbar Sahib today The security of the pilgrims has been made foolproof with the help of the district administration, police, and other institutions. New scanners have been installed at all security points. WAPDA is providing a continuous power supply to the Gurudwaras.

باب آزادی سے پاکستان داخل ہونے کے بعد یاتریوں کو ٹھنڈےمشروبا ت پیش کیےگئے اور لنگرکا خصوصی انتظام کیا گیا ۔یاتریوں کی کسٹم کلیئرنس اور امیگریشن سے فراغت کے بعد ایئر کنڈیشنڈ بسوں میں سوار کر کے سخت سیکورٹی میں روانہ کیا گیا ۔رواں برس پاکستان آ نے والے بھارتی یاتریوں کی تعداد معمول سے زیادہ ہونے کے باعث پہلے سے طے شدہ شیڈول کو تبدیل کرکے یاتریوں کے جتھہ کو دوگرپوں میں تقسیم کرکے ۔ واہگہ آمد کے بعد پہلا گروپ گوردوارہ پنجہ صاحب حسن ابدال روانہ ہو گیا واہگہ ٹرمینل پر امیگریشن کے بعد دوسرے گروپ کو سخت سیکیورٹی میں گورو دوارہ دریا ر صاحب کرتار پور روانہ کیا گیا ۔ 12 اپریل کو یاتریوں کے دونوں گروپ گورودوارہ جنم استھان ننکانہ صاحب پہنچیں گے۔ دونوں گروپ کے ارکان 13 اپریل کو گورو دوارہ سچا سودا فاروق آ باد کی یاترا کرنے کے بعد واپس ننکانہ صاحب میں قیام کریں گے۔14 اپریل کو وساکھی میلہ کی مرکزی تقریب گورودوارہ جنم استھان ننکانہ صاحب میں منعقد ہو گی۔15 اپریل کو گورو دوارہ پنجہ صاحب حسن ابدال سے ننکانہ آنے والا گروپ گردوارہ دربار صاحب کرتار پور روانہ ہوگا جبکہ دوسرا گروپ گردوارہ پنجہ صاحب کی یاترا کے لیے حسن ابدال روانہ ہوگا جہاں ایک روز قیام کے بعد 17 اپریل کو سکھ یاتریوں کے دونوں گروپ گردوارہ ڈیرہ صاحب لاہور پہنچیں گے ۔

واہگہ بارڈر آ مد پر پردھان سردار رمیش سنگھ اروڑہ PSGPC سیکرٹری متروکہ وقف املاک بورڈ فرید اقبال ،ایڈیشنل سیکرٹری شرائن سیف اللہ کھوکھر ،اعلی حکام سمیت دیگر سکھ رہنما یاتریوں کا استقبال کریں گے۔ مذہبی سیاحت کے فروغ کے لیے حکومت نے پاکستان اور بھارت کے درمیان طے شدہ معاہدہ کے برعکس خصوصی طور پر 6751 یاتریوں کو ویز ہ جاری کیا ہے۔ترجمان کے مطابق وفاقی وزیر مذہبی امورو بین المذاھب ہم آ ہنگی سردار محمد یوسف کے احکامات پر یاتریوں کے لیے رہائش اورٹرانسپورٹ،میڈیکل کے خصوصی انتظامات کیے گئے ہیں۔ گردوارہ جنم استھان ننکانہ صاحب ، گوردوارہ پنجہ صاحب حسن ابدال سمیت دیگر کو خوبصورت انداز میں سجایا گیا ہے۔

یاتریوں کے دونوں گروپ اپنے شیڈول کے مطابق گردوارہ دربار صاحب کردار پور سے واپسی پر گورودوارہ روہڑی صاحب ایمن اباد کہ یاترا بھی کریں گے۔ بھارتی یاتری ایک روز لاہور میں قیام کے بعد دورہ پاکستان مکمل ہونے پر 19 اپریل کو بھارت واپس روانہ ہوں گے ۔
